In 2023 he debut'd the 'Songs to the Sea' live show with his band at Colours Hoxton. The 'Songs to the Sea' Live show is a collage of spoken word, folk songs, heartfelt electronica and theatre. Using his multi-disciplinary talents as both a theatre-maker and songwriter, Crean paints a surreal picture of an isolated character in a seaside town. Drawing on a range of influences from Kae Tempest, Complicite Theatre Company, Radiohead and Oliver Coates, Crean creates a unique and unpredictable show.
The band consists of some of London's best young musicians, including Drummer Luke Robinson, Guitarist/ Vocalist Rory Hancock and Saxophonist / Pianist Antonio Tarrizzo. It is being developed with creative producer Anthony Kosky from Alchemist Arts Collective.
